About this courseCourse overview
Under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act, every employer must have a workplace violence policy and a workplace harassment policy, put a program in place, and give workers information and instruction on both. This online course gives your team that foundation.
You learn the legal definitions, see realistic examples of violence, harassment and sexual harassment, and understand why reasonable management action is not harassment. The course covers conduct that happens online and away from the office, as well as domestic violence that may follow someone to work.
Later modules walk through how to report, what your employer must do when a complaint is made, how investigations and confidentiality work, and how results are shared.
Use this course alongside your own policy so staff know both the law and your internal procedures.
